Early childhood education is gaining awareness as experts, parents, and educators continue to recognize and research its importance. Quality education during early childhood is supported by the creation of a safe and effective learning environment. This year at the annual NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) conference, School Specialty will be showcasing four different early childhood classroom zones that help children to develop important 21st century skills.

The 2018 NAEYC Annual Conference is being held in Washington, DC, from November 14-17. This conference is the world’s largest gathering of early childhood educators, offering numerous opportunities for professional development, the exploration of new methods and products, and much more.
