As the Childcraft 70th birthday year closes, we wanted to thank you, our customers and NAEYC show attendees, for a memorable celebration year. The Childcraft team is grateful for the outpouring of enthusiasm and support that we have seen all year and particularly at the 2016 NAEYC Annual Conference. We are especially grateful to Eric Litwin, #1 NY Times best-selling author of the original four Pete the Cat books, The Nut Family, and Groovy Joe series, who was so generous with his time at the NAEYC conference. Long lines of fans patiently waited, in some cases more than 3 hours, for an opportunity to have their picture taken or to chat with Mr. Litwin. No one was turned away. Show attendees also enjoyed his lighthearted music delivered with humor and dance at the Exhibitor Spotlight Session and Hollywood Member Party.
A special thank you as well, to Crayola, who provided two grand prize packages valued at $1000 each. The packages were comprised of developmentally-appropriate products including crayons, paints, brushes, modeling dough, and more. Congratulations to our winners: Debbie Mitchell from Luverne Elementary School in Luverne, MN and Kezia Cook from Cassady Elementary School in Columbus, OH.
Additionally, we were happy to preview our 2017 Childcraft learning materials and furnishings at the NAEYC show.
